Hi Linda – thanks for your lovely feedback. You’ve already incorporated one of the most important steps into your website by including a “Like This” button, as well as “Share This” buttons on your site. This encourages anyone who appreciates your website to connect with you on facebook, where they can soak up your micro-blogging content. Next up, one of the most important things you can do to drive more traffic to your fan page is to create a “short link”. So instead of the fan page name being really really long, it becomes something short and memorable. More importantly, it becomes easy to incorporate into your other marketing initiatives – for example, you can print the address on your business cards and include the link in your email signature. The facebook page address for this website is facebook.com/write4you.biz – which as you can see, mimics my website address. Let’s get your page up to 25 fans, and then we can talk through how to set the short url so you can start promoting the page some more.
